A reboot from windows i= nto=20 =46reeBSD makes the bfe driver unusable, displaying: Apr 12 01:04:09 sarevok kernel: bfe0: BUG! Timeout waiting for bit 0000000= 2=20 of register 42c to clear. Apr 12 01:04:25 sarevok kernel: bfe0: BUG! Timeout waiting for bit 8000000= 0=20 of register 428 to clear. This happens as soon as dhclient tries to use the card and it's downhill fr= om=20 there on. A complete shutdown and startup makes the card work again. I've seen this in various -CURRENT kernels, including the currently loaded = one=20 with sources from Apr 4. I can't vouch for any sources previous to Mar 15, as around that time is wh= en=20 I installed this Win2k partition. Dell Inspiron 8600, Broadcom BCM4401 Fast Ethernet> mem 0xfaffe000-0xfaffff= ff=20 irq 11 at device 0.0 on pci2, with: $ cat /etc/start_if.bfe0 ifconfig bfe0 link 0:50:FC:51:05:DB so I can plug in to my parent's cable when I'm there.
