I've checked /usr/src/usr.sbin/nscd folder on my system (which contains checkout of CURRENT source tree) and saw a file without a file extension: wave:...usr.sbin/nscd# env -i ls -l mp_rs_query. -rw-r--r-- 1 root wheel 1604 Sep 27 16:30 mp_rs_query.
