Of course the best way for this is to have perl fix its own hints file; IMHO less patch is better and let Configure take care of whatever it can.... * Makefile still uses MAN1 and MAN3 while ${PERL_VER} and ${PERL_ARCH} is introduced to presumablly make portsfile "upgrade registant". Do we still need MAN1 and MAN3 entries? * Is there any plan to streamline p5-* ports? I am honored to find one of my modules are there (p5-Jcode-pm) but I hardly use p5- because of / thanks to CPAN.
