Yeah, the easiest workaround is like this:
- Download ftp://ftp.freebsd.org/pub/FreeBSD/ISO-IMAGES-i386/6.0/6.0-RELEAS=
E-i386-bootonly.iso
- Burn it to a CD
- Boot it
- Make sure to select FTP as source.
- Install =3D)
