I tried lowering ng0's MTU as you suggested but unfortunately it does
not works.

Seems that the only way is enabling multilink framing negotiation on
WinXP clients. Doing so it seems to work ok, also if still reports an
ioctl() error about setting MTU in the mpd log file.

I privately sent you my config and logs, hoping you've time and will to
help me :))
