So, the half dozen or so Sun Fire 280R's I have contain Sun Remote System Control (RSC) cards. It's a board that provides battery-backed up lights out remote management, and includes serial, ethernet and modem ports for connecting to it through. System console output can be directed to and controlled from this card. Sun supplied Solaris software for supporting this card as a separate download from the o/s installation collection. Has anyone heard of any Freebsd support or requests for support for this card? Thanks :) -John
