Hi, is there any scanner (USB i presume by now) which is decently supported by FreeBSD, perhaps something that can be driven using a command line interface rather than SANE or some other huge piece of software ? In the past i have been using with success the Scanjet5p (SCSI interface, but crappy hardware), and, with quite a bit of hacking, the Artec AS6E (parallel port, very slow and low quality), but now i'd really like to get something that does not require me to spend time in writing a driver... cheers luigi ----------------------------------+----------------------------------------- Luigi RIZZO, luigi@iet.unipi.it .
