FreeBSD freebsd.sky.od.ua 8.0-STABLE FreeBSD 8.0-STABLE #9: Mon Dec 7 15:41:57 EET 2009 proks@freebsd.sky.od.ua:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/FREEBSD amd64
>Description:
On SuperMicro servers with FreeBSD 8.0-STABLE amd64,i386 with
different Intel NICs(82573,82546), when I create new vlan on em interface
( ifconfig vlan557 create vlandev em1 vlan 557),
it hangs down and then up with GENERIC kernel and server becomes inaccessible by ssh, but reply on icmp request with custom kernel.
