Do you Since it happens inmidst a tape backup operation, one would assume it's a WRITE. The current timeout is 100 seconds. That ought to be enough one would think, but i can bump the value. The odd thing is that one out of perhaps a million commands crashes. IMHO, different commands are only issued at open/close time. > have disconnection enabled???
