Doesn't sysinstall have to look for the split files? If I wanted to just make a copy of my system's directory structure under the ftp or nfs directory, would sysinstall pick up on it? Since it asks for particular distrobutions, I imagine it's looking for those particular files. thanks, david > Just mount whatever install media you have over NFS.
