Ah. There's the difference right there. You're running it under X,
whereas my output is going out to ttyv[0-2]. eg; I have it running
on ttyv2 and that's my active screen. It lights up a dark room quite
interestingly..

I've already done a buildword of 3.2R - it's definitely a good way to
check for bad memory and other system weirdness :-)
