Hi first thing im running FreeBSD2.2.7 1)what do i put in my ttys conf file to make xdm be the first thing to loadup so i can login and do password and be automatically in xwindows. 2)is there a way you can send me a working example of the ttys - config. that would be of great help then i could copy it like mine using ee editor. 3) also when i type ppp at the prompt. it says pppONSeeker>then i type term and then it just hangs with out comming back with a OK! then i have to hit ~. to get my prompt back. 4) i believe also that ppp along with xdm has somthing to do with my ttys config. somthing to do with secure/insecure on/off on different areas of my ttys file. 5) i believe if i have a working example to copy from i might have this accomplished. 1)Answer. 2)Answer 3)Answer. 4)Answer. 5)ttys example To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
