--nextPart2561871.eYsWznxf5o Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable Content-Disposition: inline Hi, I'm currently working on Gentoo/FreeBSD project (trying to have Gentoo's=20 portage and init system using FreeBSD kernel, libraries and userland). One of the things I'm needing to have a full-working Gentoo/FreeBSD system = is=20 a provider for "virtual/fam", which can be SGI's FAM (which will require *a= =20 lot* of patches and it's quite unpractical) and Gamin. I choose Gamin because it's a lot cleaner and actively maintained. As for a couple of days ago, gamin 0.1.1 is in Gentoo's portage, but it sti= ll=20 doesn't support Gentoo/FreeBSD correctly as it needs the patches which are= =20 currently applied on your cvs. One of the things we must consider on Gentoo is whether upstream knows abou= t=20 the applied patches, so I'm asking you if those patches are already reporte= d=20 to Gamin authors, so that we can apply them directly or if they must be=20 informed about their existance for a newer version. Thanks in advance, =2D-=20 Diego "Flameeyes" Petten=F2 Gentoo Developer - http://dev.gentoo.org/~flameeyes/ (Gentoo/FreeBSD, Video, Gentoo/AMD64, Sound, PAM) --nextPart2561871.eYsWznxf5o Content-Type: application/pgp-signature -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.1 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQBCugWSe2h1+2mHVWMRAl2aAKCVpH3IM87ROsCA/AgNoA8XPj15UwCeIPgn Y8pijAt+zN8WWJWmsdgpWDg= =xaO9 -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --nextPart2561871.eYsWznxf5o--
