Now,
We run a mirror of the FreeBSD repository fro internal use.
The entire FreeBSD cvs tree is imported into a single subdirectory of our
cvs tree which of course has the usual expansions..

now that everything has $FreeBSD$, we don't see any meaningful info when
whe check this out as our repository is not expanding $FreeBSD$

does this make sense?

suggesteed workaround?

julian
