Hi. For some reason, gnomesystemmonitor will not configure nor install via = portinstall on my=20 system (see below).=20 Basically it complains that particular files/libs are not up to date and = gives version numbers for each that fail, however, pkg_version clearly indicates that = each of the=20 libs deemed out of date are in fact up to date. I did a pkgdb -Fu but to = no avail. Any=20 suggestions most appreciated. The relevant portion is this (see the log = below for version numbers to verify that they are in fact correct... that is, libgtop is = libgtop2-2.6.0,=20 libwnck-2.6.0.1, gtk-2.4.0) configure: error: Library requirements (libgnome-2.0 >=3D 2.0.0 = libgnomeui-2.0 >=3D 2.0.0 gconf-2.0 >=3D 1.1.5 libgtop-2.0 >=3D 2.5.2 = libwnck-1.0 >=3D 2.5.0 gtk+-2.0 >=3D 2.3.0) not met; consider adjusting = the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable if your libraries are in a = nonstandard prefix so pkg-config can find them. =3D=3D=3D> Script "configure" failed unexpectedly. Please report the problem to gnome@FreeBSD.org [maintainer] and attach = the "/usr/ports/sysutils/gnomesystemmonitor/work/gnome-system-monitor-2.6.0/c= onfig.log" including the output of the failure of your make command. Also, it might = be a good idea to provide an overview of all packages installed on your = system (e.g. an `ls /var/db/pkg`). -- uname=20 FreeBSD jracine.maxwell.syr.edu 5.2-CURRENT FreeBSD 5.2-CURRENT #1: Fri = Apr 9 12:34:36 EDT 2004 = root@jracine.maxwell.syr.edu:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/OPTERON amd64 -- dmesg ENT #1: Fri Apr 9 12:34:36 EDT 2004 root@jracine.maxwell.syr.edu:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/OPTERON Preloaded elf kernel "/boot/kernel/kernel" at 0xffffffff808a4000.
