Hi,

I've installed freebsd 4.5 on a fujitsu lifebook s5582 which comes with
a built-in Realtek LAN port.

However, it seems like the system doesn't detect the Realtek NIC at all.

I've included the line in "/etc/rc.conf" :

device rl

but after the system boots up, "dmesg | grep rl" shows :

rl0 : couldn't map to ports/memory

How do I resolve this problem ?
Thanks ...
