Hi, All: There is still no progress at all. It kept hanging. Now shutdown command can't shutdown the computer and /sys/install just hangs at the proving devices. This is again a part of my dmesg: .... ppi0: <Parallel I/O> on ppbus0 vpo0: <Iomega VPI0 Parallel to SCSI interface> on ppbus0 vpo0: NIBBLE mode .... da0 at vpo0 bus 0 target 6 lun 0 da0: <IOMEGA ZIP 100 D.08> Removable Direct Access SCSI-2 device da0: 96MB (196608 512 byte sectors: 64H 32S/T 96C) .... (da0:vpo0:0:6:0): Synchronize cache failed, status == 0xb, scsi status == 0x0 Rebooting... .... How to fix this and how to mount // zip? Any info would be gratefully appreciated.
