The following reply was made to PR ports/37927; it has been noted by GNATS.

I just checked the status on this one (which was closed a few days ago).

Apparently, Penn State stopped aliasing my old machine address.
dochawk@scualum.com is now the best address to use.

 The audit trail shows

You don't tell us where to get it from.

Anyone installing this port would (presumably) have the CD on which the
program came. It is not possible to automatically download the
 software. The user is prompted:

X# if the files aren't there at all, try to get them from the cd
 Xif [ ! -e ${DISTDIR}/${DIST_SUBDIR}/${MAINTARFILE} ]
 Xthen
 X	#try to get them
 X
 X	if [ -e /cdrom/${MAINTARFILE} ]
 X	then
 X		cp -r /cdrom/* ${DISTDIR}/${DIST_SUBDIR}
 X	else
X echo "lf95 files not available."
X echo "Either mount the cdrom on /cdrom or manually copy
 files to"
 X echo ${DISTDIR}/${DIST_SUBDIR}"."
 X exit 1
 X	fi
 Xfi
 X
X# if we got this far, the files exist. Process any not in the form
