Hello, I've been a FreeBSD i386 user since the 2.1.1 days. One thing that has hung around with me (on i386) since then is my /etc/make.conf file. In it I have: CFLAGS= -O -pipe COPTFLAGS= -O -pipe NO_PROFILE= true USA_RESIDENT= YES Now that I have several Sun Netra X1 (UltraSPARC-IIe 440MHz) boxes running 6.2-RELEASE (Generic), I was wondering if these options make sense on this architecture. Thanks for your comments and suggestions. -- Regards, Doug
