Subject:   deciding between to unix programming books

my choices are:

advanced unix programming, by warren gay
pub sept 20, 2000 - $45 US

advanced programming in the unix environment, by w. richard stevens
pub june 1992 - $66 US

I'm leaning toward the first, but has anyone heard of it or read it?
