I notice that Andrey did a port to 2.1-RELEASE, but things appear to have changed signficantly enough in the sound driver that this no longer works. The `sfspeaker' program works fine, but sfmike is unable to open and condition /dev/audio when you "push to talk", so you can use SpeakFreely to listen but not to say anything. :-) I've poked at this a little but but don't really understand why the open is failing. The current distribution is available from: http://bavard.fourmilab.ch/speakfree/unix/speak_freely-6.0.tar.gz Jordan
