I think this is the way to do it, although we have to be careful about 
supported hardware lists and fundamental differences in how some of the 
emulators are configured (particularly now that COMPAT_LINUX means 
something totally different in -stable and -current).  I'm sure there are 
other gotchas too, but this can all be done relatively late in the game 
too.
