The answer to the second question is "no, it's not impossible." I
believe the answer to the second question is "no, you can't compile VB
on FreeBSD." To resolve the apparent contradiction, the second answer
needs to be expaned to include "until someone creats a VB compiler for
FreeBSD." In other words, it's not impossible, but it hasn't been done
yet.
