That's hard to say.  We expect the card's BIOS to work, and the 
exceedingly vast majority of them do.

You're supposed to be able to call the BIOS in v86 mode, yes.  A lot of 
DOS extenders (used for DOS-based games) do this.

We've finished with the keyboard and have started on the VGA driver.
