Hi all,

I am new to FreeBSD and am trying to setup my internet connection.
I have read the howto's and had little success. My problem I think is with
my device settings for my modem When I try pppd /dev/cuaa2 ( I assume
cuaa2 because in dos it com3 and in Linux it's ttyS2 ) 115200 connect 'chat
-f /etc/ppp/dial.chat' ..etc. etc... After that I get a device not
configured messages. How do I configure this device and is it even the
right one?? I tried adding a line to my kernel /dev./cuaa2 irq 5 port 0x3e8
( which is what my settings is in Linux.. While building the new kernel I
get an error about that line.. Any help is appreciated..

Thanks ,

Shane
