If there are IBM ServeRAID RAID controllers involved, then these are 
unusable with FreeBSD.

Otherwise, as a data point, I'm running 4.5-RELEASE on Netfinity 3500 
(dual PII/233, integrated Adaptec SCSI) with no problems.
