Does it happen every time?  I cannot reproduce it.

What is odd is that fdcheckstd() is only called when exec'ing a
set[ug]id executable -- any idea what set[ug]id program is being
exec'd here?

My -CURRENT is a few days old.  I'll see if updating allows me to
reproduce the problem.
