I don't know about you, but even if I did have a 2.88 drive in my alpha, I
would be hard pressed to find 2.88 disks to feed it.  Is this why you bumped up
the fixit_crunch.conf file recently on the alpha?  If so, I'd ask that you back
it back down to something that fits on a 1.44 floppy.
