i tried twice w/ 20010101 version a few months ago. after 2-3 false 
starts, i managed to compile ksh (and everything else in the ast-open 
package). i wasn't able  to compile/install _only_ ksh though.

i don't know what/who is ksh.com, but relevant/correct (re)sources 
are...
