Can you please double check your ports?  The file extra-old-arch-i386
and extra-new-arch-i386 are supposed to be different, and on my system
they are.  See

and
http://svnweb.freebsd.org/ports/head/x11-servers/xorg-server/files/extra-old-arch-i386?revision=310652&view=markup
Note that only whitespace differ.
