How do you find the salt in MD5 Encryption? It APPEARS to be the 4th and
5th character, however when I attempt to crypt against something in the
master password file, the rest of the password still does not match up.
On the other hand if I 'sudo' perl -e crypt it, it crypts properly,
however if I put the command into a script, and run it as root (or use
suidperl) it does not crypt properly. Any help would be appreciated.
