Subject: Intel 430HX & A2940UW 2, the revenge...

I wrote this message some days ago, but none as aswered me , no Xmas presents next year.... :-)

Now I post it again, not mainly becuase I want an answer but because I have new info that could help solving the
troubles...

----

OLD STORY :

I changed my mainboard from the oldie Asus P/I-P55TP4XE with a new Asus
P/I-P55T2P4 with the new Intel 430HX

I have no changed anything other in my hardware configuration, or in
software (except applying the few last ctm #1820)

Now I am not able to make FreeBSD find every devices attach to A2940uw
after the 2 HD as you can see from the logs...

It seems the A2940uw not work correctly anymore :
May 24 15:34:20 gmarco /kernel: ahc0: ahc_intr - referenced scb not
valid during scsiint 0x8a scb(0)

Any idea ? Who is the guilty, mainboard, A2940uw, FreeBsd or me... ?
And more important ... any solutions ? :-)

----

NEW INFOS :
I use my old A2940 (not Ultra wide , bios v1.16) and suddendly everythings works again... I thought it could be my
A2940uw that can be broken, but changing it with a new one doesn't solve the troubles...

I think it is an incompability with A2940UW and the new MB, but I could not discard a software problem ...

As usual, thanks for your attention...
