Hi, in some idle minutes I browsed the amd k6 techdocs and found out that it's obviously offering a neat feature for optimizing system calls/returns with two instructions, SYSCALL and SYSRET (http://www.amd.com/K6/k6docs/pdf/21086.pdf). I was wondering if FreeBSD is making use of them or if they are useful beyond marketing purposes at all? mkb To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
