I think you're going to have to go to Usenet.  Questions such as the one 
you are asking are pure flame bait, and aren't very likely to get 
answered here.  No one wants to get into a screaming match with Linux 
fanatics.  Anyway, to go into the details, why don't you get the 
FreeBSD www page at freebsd.org and take a look at the handbook.  You can 
get all the info you might possibly want.
