A belated response, but if you do not qualify for the NEC SOCKS5 reference
implementation license (or you just prefer BSD-licensed software on moral
grounds :-) then check out dante in ports, which is a SOCKS/MS-PROXY
package with similar functionality (it also has a socksify script)
