Coyote Point Systems builds various types of network appliances based on the FreeBSD OS. These include server load balancers, geo-targeting devices, bandwidth management etc. All intended to make internet infrastructures more robust and scalable. We're looking for an experienced coder/architect who has an in-depth knowledge of the TCP/IP protocol stack, preferably in the BSD kernel. A list of other "keywords" to help match this job with your skills is provided below. We're a profitable (i.e. stable) company, and this position should be a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a creative and flexible work environment. Since we've done well in the past with a "distributed" development team, we have no geographic prejudices. This can be a consulting or employment position. Here's the list: - Knowledge of Internet protocols including: IP, TCP, UDP, HTTP, HTTPS. - Encryption technologies: SSL, public key cryptography, etc. - Internet infrastructure: Routing, local & wide area networking. - Experience working in the BSD networking stack at the kernel level: Device Drivers, KLDs, etc. - You value Quality over Quantity when it comes to code! Please contact me if you're interested. Regards, -=BK To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-jobs" in the body of the message
