I also have some stuff to make our lockd fake NLM4, hopefully it won't be faking it for long. I have to work out a async lock notification API, I'd appreciate any suggestions for the API, especially references to systems that already have such a thing. I'm considering just a socket that a process can set SIGIO on, but that's a bit icky, any other ideas?
