You have learned through hacking, playing, learning and probably heaving your computer across the room. You have also learned that Microsoft has not live up to its promises. Let me also say though that if you are used to a "Gooey", Graphical User Interface(GUI) Only type of OS(Winblows) then FreeBSD at first will be a tough nut to crack.
