I noted very strange behavior from all pieces of the firewire stack
while testing this week when there are multiple firewire cards in a
machine.

Before I start submitting patches to fwcontrol/firewire for these
issues, is there any signifcant backwards compatibility issues I need to
be concerned about?

Should I come up with a way to make fwcontrol behave normally unless
there is a new argument(eg -B to iterate over multiple cards)? Or is ok
to trash the old behavior in favor of one that understands multiple cards?

Sean
