Hi,

I installed the jserv port recently. However, I got a file format error
when trying to loadmodule mod_jserv.so when starting apache.

On closer inspection, I looked at the file format of mod_jserv.so, and found
it to be an archive library file.

So I ran:

mkdir tmp
mv mod_jserv.so tmp ; cd tmp
ar x mod_jserv.so
cc -shared *.o -o mod_jserv.so
mv mod_jserv.so ..

This time when I started apache, all worked correctly.

Any ideas, thoughts, reasons for the mod_jserv.so file being installed as an
archive library file?

Rgds,
