I find its useful to always create a 10-15 meg DOS partition on all my machines. That way I can keep copies of hardware config utils etc (or more commonly EISA config stuff). You can mount the stuff up in FreeBSD to add/delete things from the DOS partition. The 'doscmd' solution might work but you'd have to run it with the right flags to allow it access to the real IO ports. -- | Matthew N.
