   Thank you for your answers.  I had already upgraded perl and done
"perl-after-upgrade -f" some time ago, but I have forgotten about it when
doing "portupgrade -rf libgpg-error-\*" as indicated in
/usr/ports/UPDATING:  this reinstalled lang/perl5.8 ( perl-5.8.8).  Now
"perl-after-upgrade" has told me:

**** In addition, please pay attention to the following:
net-snmp-5.2.3_1 cannot be fixed up (and has to be reinstalled):
/usr/local/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.8/mach/auto/NetSNMP/ASN/ASN.so uses an
old perl API

   So I have pkg_deleted net-snmp and reinstalled it with "portupgrade -N".
Everything is OK now.
