Peace,

  Samba is installed in my box ( FreeBSD 4.2-release )

  Iam new to this.
  TCP/IP is done on the windows machine, and all is connected to
  a network.

  All the windows clients can see each others,
  BSD is on the network, but it cannot see the windows clients
  and windows cannot see the bsd,

This is the log file
=======================
[2001/07/04 12:00:33, 1] smbd/files.c:file_init(216)
  file_init: Information only: requested 10000 open files, 8222 are
available.
[2001/07/04 12:00:33, 0] lib/util_sock.c:open_socket_in(866)
  bind failed on port 139 socket_addr=0.0.0.0 (Address already in use)

and sometimes I can see on the monitor this
==============
inetd: netbios-ns/udp: bind: Address already in use

and when i try to connect from the BSD to win OS

# smbclient ///192.0.192.36
added interface ip=192.0.192.2 bcast=255.255.255.255 nmask=0.0.0.0
Connection to  failed

Take a note that TCP/IP and Netbeuiis installed in my windows machines.

Thank you in advanced,
Marwan.
