Looks like latest HEAD is stil not quite right, seeing the following on 
boot now:

Enter full pathname of shell or RETURN for /bin/sh:
Cannot map anonymous memory
Out of memory
Cannot map anonymous memory
Out of memory
Enter full pathname of shell or RETURN for /bin/sh:

It fails to exec init so asks for a shell, rinse and repeat...

Any ideas?
