So both are (probably) custom kernels. Just run a
diff between:
  /usr/src/sys/$ARCH/conf/GENERIC
and
  /usr/src/sys/$ARCH/conf/INET_ON

(with ARCH being one of i386, amd64, etc...)

GENERIC and INET_ON may be equal; then you're running GENERIC.
If not, they you're running a customized kernel.
