I get this message in the logs from named on a machine running FreeBSD 5.4 and BIND 9.3.1. From what I have found out, there may be a problem with this mix... http://unix.derkeiler.com/Mailing-Lists/FreeBSD/stable/2005-06/1035.html This post suggests an option to get the ports system to overwrite the base. How do I do this? I have never patched the system either and unsure how to apply the security patches. My freebsd-update is having problems connecting to updates.daemonology.net, are there other sources? Thanks in advance, Robert -- Robert
