Sorry if this sounds lame, but I'm new to FreeBSD. I've installed v. 2.2.8
and recompiled the kernel with
options IPFIREWALL_VERBOSE
However, when I use ipfw add allow or ipfw add deny I get the following:
ipfw: setsockopt(IP_FW_ADD): Invalid argument
And when I try to get a list with ipfw l, I get:
ipfw: getsockopt(IP_FW_GET): Invalid argument

Any ideas?
