This was a mistake on my part, manually added in to see if making the
routing table look more like Windows' would help.  Of course it
didn't.  :-/  I guess I was desperate.  Still am.

Just tried it.  ppp-980218.  Same symptoms.  I guess it's time to join
the PortMaster mailing list and try there, since apparently this
problem is more unique than I thought.  Thanks for the tip, though!

A bug in my MUA causes news.announce.newusers                            font
to be sent to beneficiaries and senders of UCE/SPAM.                        @
