I just tried putting my skunky old aic6360 in my brand new emachine etower 400i3, and I get the following on boot-up (irrelevancies removed): aic0 at 0x340-0x35f irq11 on isa aic0: aic6360, disconnection (so far, so good) (probe0:aic0:0:0:0): ccb 0xc079c400 - time out, phase 0 (probe0:aic0:0:0:0): ccb 0xc079c400 - time out, phase 0 ...
