I would like to find a command-line driven utility which can perform rudimentary manipulation of jpeg files, such as resizing, brightness and contrast adjustments, etc. Is there a port which gives good results? I have Gimp installed, but that seems like overkill, and isn't handy when one has hundreds of images that need to be resized with a shell script. At least, I do not know how to use it proficiently enough that I can have it automatically resize hundreds of images. I would appreciate your suggestions.
